Kotaku posts Amazon deals on games

Well the article says the Metal Gear Solid Essential Collection is $14.95, it's not showing up at that price for me, and it's supposed to be until Monday.

But, if they are indeed selling at that price, that's a steal. Even just getting MGS3 Subsistence for $15 is a fantastic deal IMO. You don't get the second disc, but whatever.

It was on sale at 2 a.m. Central (12 a.m. Pacific), but not when I checked at around 10 a.m. Central this morning. That deal likely went VERY quickly.

Other items (like Boom Blox and De Blob) had also reverted to their standard price by 10 a.m. Central but others (like the Wii Perfect Shot Gun for $7.95) remained on sale.
 
Yeah, I was gonna buy L4D for my brother. Had it in the cart for $20, tried to hurry up and make an account, but then it showed up as $50. It did go fast. :(
 
I managed to get my order in for L4D around 3am est right when it went live. I checked back around 3:07 and it was back to the $50 price. Only problem is my order shows an estimated ship time of 12/23.

Ah I see now :). At 4:00 am~ I hunted around Amazon for a bit and couldn't find anything on it and was thinking they wouldn't have done it any earlier, yeesh they had that sale early! I am glad I didn't wait around for something that already happened as I had to go to sleep and really didn't need another time waster right now. Wait did I say I went to sleep I mean I err... I had a triumph of Gerbil will and bravely resisted the temptation to buy it, yeah that's right triumph of will...<looks back and forth> :p

It's nice of you to buy it for your brother and all but you mean an older brother right? This isn't the one you said gets real excited if he plays TF2 too long is it? If it is the same one the poor kid he won't sleep for days if he plays L4D O.o :p
