I know the rest of you don't know who I am but the guy running this forum does. I just wanted to stop by and say HI to an old friend. So hey brother,how's it going? Long time no see. The site is looking good and I'm proud of all the work you and the others have been doing to keep ccgr a running working website! Just don't forget that all your hard work is appreciated by all christians who love their computer games. So with that in mind try to work a little harder with less pay (you do get a few duckets now and then don't you?) and your reward will be ten fold some day. (it just won't come out of my pocket,you'll have to let the big guy upstairs pay you for it)

Hey there! I checked out the forums at alternate universe and their anime now..which I don't know a whole lot about! Thanks for the encouragement and for checking out the site. Feel free to hang around here if you're looking for a new forum to call home.

Been keeping busy with some of the reviwer copy games I get. That's a perk.

Hello, I see that you know Tek. I'm one of the Proud member of Tribe of Judah, a Christian Community which Tek had founded. He's so far tought me lots and lots of thigns and guided me into deeper Chrisitianity. CGA has been a great help also. Whenever i need help, feel depressed, feel tired, i jus come in to forum for some cooley videos and wat not

Well,it's nice to meet you flash. But I guess I don't really know who tek is. As a matter of fact I'm not sure of anything right now! I thought an old friend of mine was a guy and now I find out she's really a woman! Not that I'm dissapointed mind you but it makes me feel like a fool because I didn't know! I guess my wife was right after all. (if you thought I was going to tell you what she was right about then you're a bigger fool than me)

Yup I'm a girl (otherwise my hubby would be very disappointed).

No worries you're not the first to assume I'm a guy..it's quite common actually. I guess females gamers are a rare breed.

What really cracks me up is when I get e-mails or read forums bashing ccgr.org because I complain about the lack of clothing for female characters....they think I'm gay. Oh well ;)

I admit, I was a bit confused at the beginning of this thread and kept thinking, "Hrm, his name isn't familiar, but he's talking to the forum owner and that's me...I feel kinda guilty now." But now, both the guilt and confusion are gone.

It isn't a rare breed. I've known a lot of female gamers who pwn every players >_< I've known this Krn Female CS player who can basically headshot everyone with USP. I learned my skill from her within 9 rounds

Actually they are not rare at all. I was at a conference and two speakers mentioned females make up quite a large percentage of gamers. It's been a month, so I can't quite remember, but the percentage was much larger than I had expected. It may have been around 40%. I will look for the slides from the presentation. They are on the internet, I just need to sift through them.
 
The statistics came from two separate people, pre-written on PowerPoint slides.

Although I'm wondering if what you wrote was sarcastic and made up on the spot.
