Just a quick Hello and Thank You

Durruck

Pirate!
Hi all. I've chatted with quite a few of you already, but for those I've missed so far...

Hello. My name is Randy. I was an officer in Warpath (another SGA guild). For a multitude of reasons, we felt that merging with another guild would be in our best interest. Fortunately, we've been running with several of you for quite some time, and The Forgiven just felt like the best place to go for me.

Several members decided to come with me, and several decided that they liked other options better (some went to Arctic Raiders, others are staying put in the remnants of Warpath).

So far, the rest of the guildies that came along are:

Sheri - My wife; Ambryana the mage is her only character over so far.

Mike R - Angusog (warlock); He has other characters, but just wants to focus on the lock for now.

Tone - Moonscipher (rogue) and Kilmer (warrior) are his mains.

Marcus - Delsius the Warlock. Unfortunately, he's human, so he can't join the gnomelock convention.

and of course, me. I play Durruck (mage), Kurdran (warrior), and HereKityKity (feral druid).

We're all L60s (except Sheri's mage, but she has a L60 character) so we've got a bit of experience at most quests and instances. We've all been to places like Molten Core, AQ, or ZG at least once each.

Most of us are capped out on tradeskills... so we have a few things that we can make if anyone needs stuff done. We may not have all of the recipes yet, but we're working on it. Don't be afraid to ask; we don't bite.... hard :)

But again, back to the main of my post - as the other half of the titleline says, Thank You! You've all been very kind and warm to us as we've joined up and getting used to the new guildies. I greatly appreciate how open and receptive you've all been to us. It means a lot to me to know that we have a place we can all come and have a good time while sharing in God's love.

Of those that came over, we're not all believers. Adam said we wouldn't be the first, and I was happy to hear that we have a friendly environment for those that don't know Christ. I'm hoping through the guild chat, we may eventually find another brother or sister in Christ.

As for my personal life...who I am, etc. Again, my name is Randy. I'm 27 years old. I'm a college graduate from a community college. I'm a paramedic/firefighter, and I help teach new paramedic students parttime. My work schedule is odd, so some days I'll be around all day... other times I may be gone 2 days at a time. Don't fret, I'll come back.

Anyway, If you have any questions about me or the other new guildmates, please just hollar. We look forward to seeing you in game!

I'm not sure if I had a chance to meet everyone last night or not. I wasn't online for to long. I will be online for a while this evening though. yay! lol

Personaly, I'm glad to see all of you come aboard. I'm not sure if I've had the chance of grouping with you all or not yet but I do look forward to doing so in the future. The experiece that you all bring is outstanding. Sad to say, I myself haven't been to MC yet (as you can tell by my Attunment to the Core topic) or ZG. Hoping to be there sooner than later however.

To introduce myself, I'm Chris. We have a couple Chris' in the guild so in game, I go by my last name. You can see in the sig on what characters I'm currently using. I also have a lvl 43 hunter that hasn't seen action in probably 4 months, maybe longer. My Priest is speced mainly Shadow however I do provide back up healing when needed. I don't mind healing at all, I just perfer doing damage. After the new patch comes out, I'll probably still keep around the same spec because I enjoy the game this way. :)

Anywho, welcome aboard to you and everyone else. Glad to have ya and looking forward to grouping/raiding with all of ya.

Take care,

Chris

Well I haven't actually introduced myself on this forum yet, so I suppose now would be a great time.

My name is Mike (like a bunch of others here), but as you can tell from my handle I am used to going by my last name.

I recently moved to this server after having bounced around various WoW servers for a while now (switching between RP, PVP and the new-ish RP/PvP servers). In the end I decided it was a lot more fun to play with friends, so I switched to this server so I could play with some real-life (RL) friends of mine. After having found out about this guild from them I am extra glad that I did make the switch.

My only character of note on this server is a gnome warrior (Congnomedrum), there is a pun in that name for those who like puns. At the time of this writting he is only lvl 44, but in good time I hope to have him up and running MC/UBRS with the rest of you. :)

My daughter helped me make a human female priest (that is only around lvl 6 atm, I only played with her once over the weekend for a bit). I forget her name at the moment (Tiriana or something like that), but once I get her up past lvl 20 I will be certain to post her name. Since she is the one who picked out everything about this character (all I did was pick the class), it's no real surprise that she looks a fair amount like my eldest daughter (red hair and all). :)

I have 4 kids: Amelia (7), Koen (5), Peter (2, and definitely in his terrible 2's), and little Liesl ( 5-6 months old). My wife Amy and I now live in Raleigh, NC. Though we just moved here from the San Francisco bay area, where I was born and raised. My wife is from San Diego, but moved north to go to college. We met after college at Mt. Hermon (a Christian camp in the Santa Cruz mountains, which I would highly recommend to anyone), and we are coming up on our 9th anniversary this May.

Hope to "see" you all online sometime soon. :)

Mike, I used to go to Mount Hermon as a kid, boy those pancake breakfasts! What a great place. I am from and live in Southern California... see you around in game.

Also welcome to all the new Warpath members, great to have you aboard!

Since I finally figured out why I couldn't post, i figured it is time to post a hello.

So hello and thank you for letting me in. I have been playing WoW since beta, and have other MMORPG experience behind me.

So a quick poll reveals that 100% of persons who have been to Mt Hermon play with gnome warriors. :)

Look forward to seeing you in Azeroth.
