The verse? What do you mean THE VERSE?
Do you think this can all be expressed within a signle verse? The prophecies of Isiah is what the entire book is about not a single verse!
 
Because Byblos why should i look up the scriptures, i know they are there. what good would it be for me to show every single verse when you are questioned about it.

Its like the same kid anwsering all the questions in class, great he knows the anwser what about the other 100 kids or so.

Byblos i checked Isaiah its not in there, you may be referring to revelation though where many turn to the anti-christ.


As far as knowning when Christ will return that is still in the air and debated constantly. some say before the anti-christ, some say after, some say post-mid or even pre trib.
 
hey dv, just because they don't know the verse, doesn't mean you don't have faith. i am sure i have faith because i just know. god let me know. but you are too critical of every little detail.

Are you telling me that God reads to you from the Bible?

What is the point of the Bible if you don't study it?
 
Back to the topic....

It amazes me that more Jewish people have not accepted Christ. There are references and allusions to Jesus in the Jewish holidays.

I understand some of the arguments, but still......
 
Oh, I know of the Messianic congregations, but to think of the amount of Jewish people that will continue to look for Messiah until the day of the Glorious Appearing is amazing.
 
Actually i want to intern or work with some Jews, there understanding of the OT is so profound, i know an elder whos ministry is with Jews and his understanding is so vast in the OT, which is what many Christian fail in, i dont want to fail in anything i do. (pride i guess )
 
there is a lot a Christian can learn about their faith from studying the Old Testament. Just the aspects of Old Testament Covenants in relation to Jesus (the New Covenant) and that of the Kinsman Redeemer are very humbling.
 
I love Jewish tradition. If I ever marry again it will be with that tradition, it is very symbolic.

I have never understood how they seperate the Old Testament from the New. What is it that makes them not believe that Jesus is their Messiah?
 
yeah, they are both very similar. the only difference is jesus changed the law to
1. no sacrifices anymore *I AM!
