And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lambfor a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Genesis 22:8[b said:Quote[/b] (Dark Virtue @ Oct. 14 2004,8:43)]You don't honestly believe that do you? Christ walked amongst us for one purpose only? To die? Why not just die in the crib then? Why did Christ teach and preach then if he was nothing more than a chunk of meat to be sacrificed?
The question we have asked here is valid. Why did Christ not pen a single, solitary story? One parable? One LINE of text?
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. Hebrews 9:22
All the sacrifices previous to His death on the Cross were simply a picture of His coming rolled into the New Testament. He is God. The answers thus far are good, they are Scripture. All your "whys" try to put Him in a box. He is God, He did things according to His good pleasure. He has already been crucified! His flood of blood always fresh and flowing; it is a rainbow of promise. It covers the world for those who want to cling to our modern day ark, the Holy Cross of Jesus and all that it signifies. There is no need for you to continue to crucify Him DV. Christ as the Author HAS been answered, you insist on darkening your heart and refusing to hear the truth. Your salvation is not a test of mine, or anyone's faith, for God will not do anything against your freewill. However, I will. For the next year, you are to study the King James Bible. You can have a Strongs Exhaustive Concordance and the oldest Webster's Dictionary that you can get your hands on. Each day, you not only begin your studies, but bathe your studies in prayer. This is to be done in every, single, solitary spare moment. We will miss you!
PS Can you search the Scriptures and find out how many angels can dance on the head of a pin? But then, I don't know that all these questions are important, nor necessary once you have the faith to believe on our Triune God!
