Listen to this parable -
"There were two men in a certain city, the one rich and the other poor. The rich man had many flocks and herds; but the poor man had nothing but one little ewe lamb, which he had bought. And he brought it up, and it grew up with him and with his children; it used to eat of his morsel, and drink from his cup, and lie in his bosom, and it was like a daughter to him.

Now there came a traveler to the rich man, and he was unwilling to take one of his own flock or herd to prepare for the wayfarer who had come to him, but he took the poor man's lamb, and prepared it for the man who had come to him.

From what book of the bible is this parable from?
Who told this parable?
To whom was it for?
What was the result of it to whom it was directed to?

Enjoy, I will give the correct answers in 3 days.:)

Probably wrong, but here is my answer/guess;

2 Samuel
Nathan
David
David repented for having Uriah killed so he could marry his wife...

Actually Phantom you are correct. In fact it was 2 Samuel 12. I thought it was kinda of funny that David did not get it at first and Nathan had to tell him that it was he who had sinned. David then in his realization repented and of course because of his sin the son whom Bathsheba bore died.

Let me refraise the forth Question.

What was the consequence to the house of whom this parable was spoken to ?

Well I was gonna wait 3 days but I'll give them now.
1 answer is 2 Samuel 12:1-4
2 answer is Nathan
3 answer is King David
4 answer is 2 Samuel 12:10 "Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me, and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife."

The sword shall never depart from your house was the correct answer and as a result of that 3 of King Davids sons came to a violent death.
Amnon 2 Samuel 13: 28-29
Absalom 2 Samuel 18:14
Adonijah 1 Kings 2:25

Well there you have it and God bless all till the next one.:)
