"Surely he has bourne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed."
I am always amazed at the fulfillment of prophecy. If my memory serves me correctly this morning I believe this was written 650-700 years prior to Christ's earthly ministry.
I am going to attempt this morning to take a few solitary moments and reflect on the grace that I have received in Christ. Remembering that He has forgiven me of my sins; past sins, sins of today and even future sins. Despite knowing the depth of my sin, He still forgave me.
