Will anyone from CG Alliance be attending Con Nooga this weekend (Feb 20-22) in Chattanooga? Dorkelf and I are headed up there from Atlanta after work tomorrow, and leaving Sunday morning after the worship service.
That's right; there will be a worship service, and it's on the official schedule. Swordsman (Chris) from Fans for Christ is leading it. If you have any Christian friends who are going, make sure to tell them about it! (He also does the services at Dragon*Con, but those are far from official. Fans for Christ has to beg every year to find someone who will let us use their room for it.)
Anyway, if you're going, let us know. There will be quite a few people from Fans for Christ there. Dorkelf and I haven't been before, but it's supposed to be a rather family-friendly event. And it's cheap: $35 for the weekend, I believe.
Oh, it's also home to the semi-finals and finals of Saber Idol. You can see some of the videos on You Tube.
