...me. Hey guys. haven't heard of CCGR til recently and I like the atmosphere. good reviews with a clear Christian POV. One question I'll throw out is about game making, not just game reviews. I noticed a few Christian oriented games here that don't get much main stream media. I also saw that one game used the same engine and idea that my new family company was doing. namely the Pilgrims Progress theme. My brothers and I are creating a game (was PP until we saw it's been done) that will be fun and Christian based. I guess my question is this, are any of you into game making or just playing/reviewing? Just want to get a feel for any help I may need to ask for since I'm the modeler and a very poor one at that. OK, that's my intro. let's talk more. oh yeah, sorry about no spiffy signature. I'm not that imaginative.
 
its all good man welcome to the forums.

As far as a PP game goes i would say go for it, but do it better. Do not try to ram the Christian POV down someones throat though if you are going to try to sell your game. i think maybe do a game based off of the Chronicles of Narnia would be cool. Just an idea.

These forums are actually made up of a bunch of several different Christian gaming sites.  CCGR being one of them.  In general, most people here are gamers and not developers.

If you want to find Christian game developers, there is a Christian Game Developer's Conference which has forums and a Yahoo! Group.  The main home page is here.  The forums are located here.  They ARE Christian game developer's.

There are a few coders on this board but mostly gamers. Have you been to http://www.christiancoders.com ? They seem like a nice bunch over there and I bet they can help you out.

The Christian gaming industry is just starting to immerge. It's hard to find publishers and support, so it won't be an easy process. Heed your head up and keep the faith.
