I highly douby Kerry is popular, I know many who don't like either canidiates right now and would prefer a good third option

I'm not electing a priest, but I am electing what I feel to be a good Christian leader, and that's the most important thing to me.

The purpose of a president is not to be a 'good christian leader.' America's government is secular for a reason. As for attempting to "please [you] instead of doing what he knows to be right," I'm sorry for being blunt, but it's called politics. All presidents and presidential cantidates, with perhaps the exception of third parties, do this. It's a game of compromises, since you have to please so many people with such varying opinions and beliefs. As for the popularity thing, my only point is that you're basically saying that roughly half of america is going to be voting for the 'antichrist,' which is an extremely black and white way of looking at things. Not my place to say you can't, but I would suggest to you that the situation is more complex that you appear to believe.

Kerry is popular, but I only meant that roughly half are going to vote for him. I know many who don't like both cantidates as well, but then that's to be expected, since there is such a diverse population in America, in all senses of the the word. If you want a third option..there's always Nader. : )
