Instrumentalists.

Just me being curious, getting to know you all better...
If you play an intstrument classical/rock/etc., tell me about it!

I play the trumpet and piano!
currently, I'm in marching summer practice for the high school band (first year, I'm so excited!)

I played violin starting age 4.5...but I've hardly played it since I moved. :( I played all the way through college though, and I miss it.

i sort of started violin and quit eventually because trumpet was more exciting and i had a tied up schedule...
then the strings broke because it had been tightened for the whole year... but it was too small/really horrible (the string tightening things NEVER stayed in place. i tried to make it sharper because it was flat and then it would loosen up and go FLATTER)

Music is a part of who I am. My primary instrument is clarinet, but I also play saxophone and trumpet. I often think of the Psalm that lists all the different instruments used to worship God.

I loved marching band. :)

I started guitar when I was 10. 8 years later and I'm still rockin'.

I also played snare drum in the RHS Drumline! w00t!

I used to play the saxaphone, back in middle school. I also took a few lessons before moving. I don't think that quite counts as playing an instrument, though.

my father plays guitar (well he did until lately he stopped because a string broke... then he bought a new set and replaced it and BROKE THE SAME ONE. then he quit pretty much for good)

he can't read music *laugh*

I used to play the alto sax.

I'll probably pick it back up again now that our youth group is forming a worship band. I wish I had music for it though. The only praise & worship music book I have is Vocal/Piano/Guitar. :-/
