Just speculatively (at the moment) if i was to travel to the USA on holiday, where would be the best place to go.

Bearing in mind one of you would have to pick me form the airport and lodge me for the duration (including any day trips). Also i want to try and see as many of toj/cga as possible.

Any ideas/offers/etc..

my recommendation would be the east coast. I know there are several ToJers around there, and you could get to see alot of American History, if you're interested in any of that. If you want warm, there's always Florida. If you want Tek, there's always Oklahoma. Do you want to relax or see stuff?

There are a few of us in Florida incluiding myself but I know there are more in other areas. It would be cool if when you signed up for ToJ you could put down your location and we could have a map with pins showing locations of everyone (without names for saftey reasons).

Of course if you want to see alot of ToJ, and especially Tek, You would want to go somewhere in the middle or East. While I don't recommend Oklahoma for its entertainment value (besides all the jokes about it), it is pretty central. Dallas of course is a large city if there are any ToJ'rs there.

We are scattered so I would just figure out who/what you want to see and go there.

The trip just wouldn't be complete without a day in Tulsa. Just ask LionOfJudah!

I could talk to a few of the Tulsa ToJers and see about hosting you for a few days. We could even hit the local LAN gaming center, provided we could get enough of us off work the same night. -_-

Message or e-mail as you're getting closer to the time for planning and we'll see how it goes.

You could come here to Houghton; it's only an hour south of Buffalo. That way you could hit the US and Canada.

You'd only be 5 hours (most likely less) from OH.

Hey Rizz, the big problem with North America is, unlike the UK, or most of Europe for that matter, is that no matter where you are, you are too far away from everywhere else.

The big question is when you would come. If you come in the winter do not go anywhere north of Tennessee. IF you come in the Summer don't go anywhere South of Tennessee. That is about the middle of the country. Spring or Fall is great most places.

The issue of travel is huge. Our trains stink. We use the automobile to get places or planes. Planes are expensive. Cars take time. It also depends on what you want to see! No trip to America would be complete without New Your City or Washington DC or Tulsa, Oklahoma (okay maybe not Tulsa). There is also Disney World. Florida is great with Disney and Miami and the Carribean influence and white sand beaches. Wow, I need a vacation. Oh and then there is the largest ball of mud in Indiana and the biggest ball of string in Arizona or is that the Grand Caynon, I forget.

Well there is an awful lot to choose from. I mean America is like a new world.
