Prayer Warriors,

I am in India now. I appreciate your prayers to get me here.

Please be in prayer as we meet with a number of different Christian organizations. We are meeting with nurses, students, pastors and others before going to the coast of India.

I will be preaching tomorrow in an India church, please pray God gives me the words to speak.

I will try to post before we head to the coast. We are going to the coast to present a couple of villages with fishing boats to help the villages get back on their feet. We hope to give the boats to Pastors or church leaders. We will have to wait until we get there to see how it plays out.

I will try to send more. If anyone can tell me how to post a photo i will try.

Just click on the 'go advanced' tab below where you enter your text, and click 'manage attachments'. I believe photos can only be up to about 171kbs.

How kewl! Posting from India! I am so excited for you! I pray that you will plant/water/reap good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. The Indian people that I have met have always struck me as such precious, tenderhearted and meek souls. I have faith you will be well received. What a wonderfully blessed mission you are on; I hope you will share every detail when you return.
May God richly bless each and every one of you.

Iccthus, glad you made it there safe. I pray all goes well.

mail me the pictures if you want and I'll post them for you and provide a link.

I'm sad for not being able to go :(... how many people went? And were they all from your area?

There is a feeling a person gets when they slowly savor ice cream. There is a joy a child has when she gets a new doll or a new puppy for Christmas. There is an overwhelming passion that washes over someone during that first kiss. In the same way, these very feelings of passion come over me when I see these very pictures. There is a stirring in my heart and a great joy that comes over me when I see people from other countries, other cultures, and other races coming together to praise and worship God. I have never been on a mission before, so I don't know what its like. I just know that from these pictures as well as a couple other pictures that I have collected, there is a great joy that comes to me when I see these things. But unfortunatly, I don't have the opportunity nor the means to do missionary work. But in the same way, I don't know what my future or my career is. Any advice?

Thank you for sharing the pics and to you, Thaddius for posting these. I'm so glad I'm a part of the family of God!
I have only been able to go once on a Missionary journey. Our church allowed us to sell stationary to raise money for the trip. We went to Monterey, Mexico and those are some of my fondest memories as a Christian. I came back with a feeling of how important it is to win others to Christ and a knowledge that I can be a missionary right here at home. We had a blast! I still laugh about our associate pastor getting on the van after a trip to a shop that sold discounted silver. He was so proud of his belt buckle, with the giant green leaf in the middle! It was gorgeous...he still wants to know how I knew it was a marijuana leaf! lol
Preacher teaches that while we are not all called to be missionaries abroad, or here at home, on the bus ministry, for example, we can all give financially and God blesses that just as well. This is a way to see these ministires continue.
Icthus, I hope it is a good, satisfying kind of tired. God bless you for your work there! You have a visit from Bowser to look forward to on your return. I think he is saying he will be your slave for a week. A bit maimed one at that...but hey!
We are praying you back safe, sound, and overflowing with joy!

I personally sponsor a child in India through Compassion Canada. And another child in India through Compassion Canada through work. Someday, I may go and visit. Looks like a great place full of loving people. Keep us updated!!!

Hey Icthus! So encouraged to see some of what you're doing over there! It's exciting to see people stepping out in faith and ministering around the world.

I did not preach yesterday, but I gave a report on the trip.

Then I had to pick up my wife at the airport that afternoon. She had been in Chicago for a women's retreat.

I had to fight to stay up past 9 PM. I am still trying to get my mind straight. It still feels like its Wednesday or Thursday night and it is Monday morning.
