ICC DPS Analysis

not sure why boomies are so low,, from what i have seen if played right, they can pull just as much as warlocks and mages /priests
 
I like this, as it approaches the dilemma we were discussing just last night, Bill. Arcane is significantly behind on average for extended encounters. However, in burst situations and when lucky enough to be able to stand still, uninterrupted and go all out on a boss, Arcane surges up to the top. This is the reality of Arcane mage. If I went deep fire, you would see me higher on total damage done for the night, but I would no longer be able to provide the 13k dps bursts that I have now.

To be honest, I'm down with running either spec. You guys can just tell me what you'd rather me provide.

Gotta remember that the people from whom they're extracting data are extremely skilled players in extremely optimized gear. Nobody in our guild has gear with that level of optimization.

I did learn that generally shadow priests fall behind.... /shakefist!

Shadow Priests also provide replenishment, 3% hit chance, take reduced damage via shadowform, can shield themselves, passively heal the entire raid, and can rez the dead after an "almost wipe." Find me a rogue or mage that can do those things.

I really like how they give the limitations of the data shown by these histograms in an upfront manner.

The top dps parses show Boomkin doing very well. It's just that on average Boomkin aren't played well apparently.

I have yet to see another boomkin do as much damage as McFierce on our server. After playing a boomkin now for a while I'm noticing that Boomkins are like hunters... there's a lot of really bad ones out there...

I have started leveling a boomkin. There will be a reckoning :D. If I can be at least as good as Fierce mission accomplished

My boomkin's name is bearbills... named after...
