I WANT ANOTHER BWE!

Of course it's my anniversary weekend...stay home and play Guild Wars...or go to the B&B we've reserved overlooking the Pacific Ocean...which to do...which to do...

Lol Abba... similar predicament for me: wife's grandma's bday party that weekend, so I won't get much if any time to play this go-round either.

Wheeeee about my only empty weekend that month. IT"S CLOBBERING TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sell the reservation for a profit (this is key), book another weekend some place cheaper, and then stay home and play all weekend.

A second less exciting trick would be to send your wife's good friends in your place for a girls weekend. Honestly, most wives would rather spend a girls weekend than a romantic get away. ;)

That is definitely the words of someone who has never had an anniversary - much less #39.

Gotta agree on that. I'd never hear the end of it if I skipped out on an anniversary trip, no matter the actual proximity to said anniversary.

My wife is very understanding of me wanting to play GW2 though. Even though it was a fairly hectic evening on that Monday stress test, she let me have some time (a couple hours) to play my game :)

In my case, I had already drawn it up in my mind that I wasn't going to get any time to play on the computer until after the event was over, so any time at all, even if it was only playing with the character creator, was a bonus.

lol - let me be a bit clearer...

on one hand I have three glorious days away - the beautiful love of my life - in a King Jacuzzi Suite - with a fireplace - sparkling apple cider - breakfast in bed, delivered - dinner overlooking a sunset on the Pacific...

on the other hand I have a GW2 beta weekend with Ursen, Stc, Raven, Fire and maybe Blue...

hmmm...what do I do?...which do I choose?

No-brainer on this end - and I won't miss being or killing a single Charr.

at the end of the day you ain't living with charr but that sounds like a sweet anniversary for sure!!!

Sounds like a much better B&B than I last encountered: adjacent to a noisy highway in tourist-trap-central, single room barely big enough for a twin bed, shower stall so small you can only stand half inside, no hot water, and McDonalds breakfast would seem like a 5-star restaurant compared to what we were served :)

Nope - not at all like that. A 2010 top ten in the USA - with nice amenities:

This is where I'll be while y'all are in Tyria.

Nice, but too much for this hillbilly, have fun. I think for our 39th we did a small mom and pop restaurant and a movie at home.

The Honeymooners ("to the moon, Alice, to the moon")

...wait...this is not the word association thread
