It is my pledge from this point forward to attempt to be a uniting force and not a dividing force in the Kindgom of God on these forums.

I pledge to not attack anyone personally or randomly.

I will seek the best in others.

I will be quick to listen and slow to speak and even slower to anger.

I give all who sign this document with me the ability to speak to me about my words that are in conflict with my pledge.

I claim Ephesians 4:3- "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

Ephesians 1:22 - 23 tells us that WE are the body of Christ. I will uplift you as other believers and as members of His body and always I am praying for our fellowship. Hurting another member is only another lash to His body.

Why would you expect a nonchristian to sign that the way you have worded it? I can't sign it without be hypocritical even if I agree with the spirit in which it was wrote.

I dont think anyone expected anyone to sign it :). I saw the post before anyone started signing it and the thought that people would start signing never crossed my mind. I signed it to challenge myself to help make the forums a more pleasant place to chat. :D

Why not make your own pedge to make the forums a better place, wording it in your own words. Most people will "sign" this because they agree with what was written and feel they can't write their own any better.
