Gotta love Wilsons class I learn so much in there.

Do you have the Windows 98 SE cd? There are good possibilities that the file is in the cd. If not, I gotta get my thinking caps on and think more.. :/

btw.. Windows 98 SE is a good Os, perferabily the best gaming OS, however, It's stability is unmatched to that of Windows 2000 and XP. Even if your computer's specs aren't that good, Windows 2000 uses as little ram that of windows 98 SE. Zealot, I recommend you switch Windows version because of low compatability and lack of stability will make your computer open to any kind of attacks/hacks/viruses/bugs and all of the kind.

Try www.bootdisk.com.

By the way, try getting a router and a personal firewall. Anti-virus will stop the Trojans from coming in and going out, and stop the nubs who try and use them. ;)

I would suggest a great and FREE personal firewall called "Kerio". Get it at www.kerio.com. It's called "Kerio Personal Firewall" - imagine that!

Router.. unless u hav a many computer, do not use router. It's a horror specially if u buy the low-price ones that u can't do anythin with. Any way, I'd still recommend a Personal Firewall as well. BUT! Kerio has some cons as well as the fact that it's free. It blocks almost everything including the capability of sharing files. I went back to Norton Personal Firewall. (huggs K++)

www.k-lite.tk i believe.. I recommend this big big time if ur still the old Kazaa Media Desktop user.

Router...gotta love them (if you know how to use them!).

Also Kerio is fully customizable and you can setup your own rules...it's the best out there that I've seen.

As far as getting any apps from Kazaa - I'd watch out. You never know who hacked into them and what they put into them...be ye careful!

*glares at micah*
I have Norton 2002 but that stuff never worked for me, that was always the first thing to go down for obvious reasons... im giving this computer to my dad and building my own soon. and if I get out the disk wont that just reformat/reinstall my OS?

What disk? If it's the system disk then yes, it will most likely just format the drive and re-install the OS.

Try doing a search on google.com for the actual file, someone else may have had problems with it and has posted it somewhere or even posted a fix for it.

gg h4x0r nubs.

I'm no haxor n00b.. im 1337y boy..

ennyways.. Zeal, Norton Personal Fire 2003 is on, and it's blocked everything that is unnecessary for me.

For the Kerio Personal Fire, well, i haven't tried the newest version. I have to, and i'll proly do it, cuz im not fond of norton :/ but i do like there firewall, and i must admit, its pretty cool

Re Kerio .... I have been using Kerio on both my machines and even file sharing and FTP server operation between machines can be easily configured....The only app I have had problems with is MS SQL Server since being a software dev this is something I use a lot...so for a free firewall it runs and protects quite well....kept me from transmitting blaster..so it has earned its keep !

Because he is a wanna-be h4xor. That's pretty clever how they changed the file named: svchost to scvhost...rofl!

... dos/script and it'll be easy to change it.. i probably can, but don't wanna.. i got some stuffs that i gotta save in meh comp.
