I feel so cheap and wrong...

So, it started out innocently.

I bought an iPod. It was pretty cool.

I started using iTunes for my music player. It didn't suck.

My friend got an Macbook Pro. It was pretty sweet. (Especially dual booting)

Someone gave me an iPhone. It totally rocked and is the best phone I have ever had. There are too many reasons to list here why i love my iPhone.

The other day iTunes downloaded and installed Safari to my desktop.

Yesterday, I made Safari my default browser.

I am turning into a fruit.....

I am ashamed.....

Help me....

Well, being an Apple/IBM employee (Which I found out today that my department is not allowed to tell people we are Apple employees, but saying were IBM is just fine, but it is way too late for that) I hereby want to you continue to purchase Apple products to feed my paycheck, but from an user to another user, GET AWAY FROM IT...Apple believes in a closed, fee based, internet...I am serious, they told us themselves in training...when I am a believer in an open and free internet...but I could tell you all kinds of additional confidential information...but I won't, because I signed a paper, but if you knew...you would get away from Apple at all costs... The only thing we employees actually get and love from working there are iPods, and the iPhone...everything else we know about...lol...

Disclaimer: If you know me personally, please do not tell anyone that has any connections to Apple that I have posted what I have even though I don't think I have broken my NDA and CA...(other than tell you I work at Apple...)

Dang, they don't even give me a <NDA> until I have been there <NDA>...but I think that is awesome anyways...

So basically you are saying we should boycott Apple because they are a greedy corp and bunch of other horrible things that you learned recently and cant tell us. BUT if we knew it ourselves, we would be fleeing and running screaming from Apple products..

Sorry I don't buy it nor do I trust your opinion or word enough to stay away from things that bring me great joy, i.e. Apple products and software.

I met Woz once when he was touring around for his new book. He was pretty nice and really down to earth. I have an iPod too and I don't think I could survive the rides on the subway without it. I don't really care for the MacBook Pro though. I'm thinking of getting a new laptop this summer and I seriously considered Apple, but I really ended up going with a Lenovo.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that as long as their products are useful to you, then it doesn't matter what we say. :P

FYI, this is not new information. Apple is not for anything free or open. They have never been because then Steve cannot control the way it looks and feels.
 
their closedness(is that a word or did I just make it up? :P) is why they like to say they arent as vulnerable as windows
