You know...i never got that.

All these companies the make high performance 'gaming' rigs charge slightly less then your first born.....Who do they think gamers primarily are?

It does look cool, but I'm with vibro on the mac pro....except if I had $3k to spend on something, it wouldn't go to a computer. Spending a lot of money on something that depreciates as quickly as a computer is simply throwing away your money. I understand that a really good gaming PC can cost a lot, but the PC games that I play work just fine on my Windows box and/or Macbook. I switched to consoles for gaming a few years ago because my computer used to be a money pit with each game released.

I don't usually like to crush people's dreams (or in this case, dream-rig), but I completely agree. While yes the machine is purty and has some nice specs, you would be much happier with a Mac or running Ubuntu.

I wish you would have spoken to me before buying my first computer :-P An amazing rig it was, but I shouldn't have spent so much.

Me agrees 100% with the second statement. Console gaming is where it's at.
