I played GW with y'all for about 2 years when it first came out, but then ended up leaving 3 years ago to go to WoW. Tonight I was reading some stuff about GW2 and got a little nostalgia to play so I downloaded the client and got on for the first time in a couple of years. I feel so lost! haha. I have 7 different lvl 20 characters with all sorts of cool stuff on em... and no idea what I'm doing! lol.

I figured I would try and log on tomorrow and maybe play with y'all a little bit. How do I go about finding who is online from SoE? GW doesn't have a /who command like WoW does from what I remember to see who is online. So I'm not sure how to get in contact with anyone in game.

If you're still in the Guild, just press G and the roster will appear (IIRC).

I to am looking at returning to the game. No money to sub for anything else and wanting to try those Mesmer changes. Should see me hopping on in a few days. :)
 
Besides calling up the Guild Roster go on Alliance chat and just say Hi, someone in Alliance is usually on. Remember SOE is the sister guild to SoE. Only time there are fewer people on is during the time 9-5 EST, but there are even a few on then. And welcome back. :)
 
Welcome back! Like Ursen said - 9-5 EST is a little slow - but once people get off work there is almost always someone from SoE/SOE on. Make sure your chat is on Alliance and whoever is there can get back to you.

Also, if you had a friends list from three years ago (N on your keyboard) probably a number of them are still around.

Who are some of your characters - I'll look for you.
 
I looked and I'm not in the guild anymore. I left my elementalist in the SoE guild hall and when I logged in I got a brief glimpse of it before it booted me out of there haha.

The character I'll prolly play is either my Mesmer senor bill or my ritualist ritual bill.

On a side note.. Does the whole 55 monk farming UW still work?

Do you need an invite? You are still showing up as a member of CGA - are you still a member of Tribe of Judah? That is what it takes to join SoE/SOE.
 
I'm still a member of CGA and ToJ. I'm one of the officers over on WoW. I'm trying to remember my TOJ name... might be Bill? lol.
 
If you already belong to ToJ then just go to Request to Join SoE/SOE thread and make the request with what you would consider your primary name. One of us will find you online and issue the invite.
 
You can give the invite already Abba, he's definitely CGA/ToJ, there's no need to verify that. All we need is a name in-game. :)
