Most of mine were just for the sound--Julienne I just liked, Miella plays on the French for honey and seems gnomishly cute too, Anastasija is a more correct transliteration of Анастасия (commonly rendered Anastasia) the lost princess of Russia, and Aniarmhi is really An Iarmhí (the Irish name of County Westmeath.

Only other one with an interesting story is my PP char Mignonette--it's one of the middle names of the title char in The Princess Diaries.
 
Esteban is spanish for Steven, so in order to make it something somewhat original....
replaced the N with R

My toons I tried to come up with names by myself having to do with the race or character:
Aladrielle (actual first created toon) just sounded elfish.
Krystalla (2nd created toon) for the dwarf enchanter who likes Crystals.
Schmeea ... well, being a gnome I wanted something cute and thought of Schmee in "Hook" and added an 'a' to be more lady like.
Antherialli=again sounded elfish.
Geralynne=derivative of my name in RL
Endorah= from Bewitched and thought it made a great warlock name.
Celestiarose=I was waxing poetic that day.
 
I got my name from a character in Shakespeare's play "As You Like It." It's Latin for "stranger," though it probably just looks like alien to some people. I like it though. I have another toon named Victorianna, just because I thought the name sounded pretty.
 
Haggis is a Scottish hot dish (Minnesotan for casserole...), all kinds of animal parts stuffed in a sheep's stomach. Since there was an NPC in the game by the name of Haggis I added an extra "s". Yum.

Lonnbeimnech is a Celtic word which alledgedly translates as "fierce stike." I have no idea if this is an accurate translation but it sounded good when I was picking a name.
 
I've always wondered how to say Lonnbeimnech.

Is it Lon-beym-neck or Lonn-baeym-nech?

It looks so cool!

I guess I really don't know how to pronounce Lonnbeimnech. In my mind's eye, or maybe ear, I hear your first pronounciation.
