This morning it was 32. Which isnt bad as some people, but i live a half hour away from the Pacific Ocean... ITS COLD... for here

its about 20 something out currently, low of 17 last night

it took a half hour to shovel my driveway yesterday. good exercise, but i wouldn't mind if someone donated a snowblower to the cause. :)

I live in Atlanta, and usually around this time in the year its around 40 or 50... all this week the highs have been in the 70's. Unbelievable.

Southern California, at least the desert, is a little abnormal right now too. Highs only in the 50s. We usually get some 70s in there on the clear days.

I live in Tulsa, oklahoma, which just got hit by an ice storm that took power away from more than half of the city...actually more than half of Tulsa and Oklahoma City It was pretty intense. The trees were so frozen over that they were bending from the treetops to the ground. The day after the ice over it looked like a warzone. Broken trees (not treelimbs, treetrunks) were everywhere...they had to cancel school for lack of power, lack of driveability in a lot of areas due to trees in the roads. Things are getting back to normal again, but it required Bush declaring it a national emergency (FEMA) and having workers for electric companies brought in as well as tree trimming companies. Thank the Lord, our power stayed on where we are.

Yes I heard that many rural communites were without power for a few days. Lord Jesus, protect all the children in OK from danger.

Reminds me of a few years back, when we got hit by an ice storm and had no power for 15 days...lol... IT SUCKED! Yeah, when it happened here, it was creepy... You are lucky to have power....15 days no power, and about 10 degrees during the day...oh yeah!...thanks to you guys' ice storm I am not getting laid off yet...

I'm a little east of Niox (Ohio here) and that storm here sucked! Ours hit right at Christmas, so we spent the whole week holed up in my in-laws basement because they had a generator that could run a space heater and lights. I've been praying for you folks in the mid-west that got hit by this ice storm - I definitely remember your pains.

Definitely Ice Ice baaaaaby; it's been in the teens at night and I've had to scrape my windshield before work. It warmed up to a toasty 33 day before yesterday, a bit warmer today.
