Hello. I saw a post on the Warhammer Alliance forum about your guild and it sounds like exactly what i'm looking for. I have joined at the ToJ forums and would love to roll with you guys at launch if possible.

Here's a little about me.

My name is Ryan, i'm 27, married in columbus, oh. i'm a worship leader at my church and also a student. I love gaming but mmo's are only as good as the people you play with and after checking out the site and the forums I think you guys sound pretty cool.

I just started playing WAR on the first preview weekend. I was very unsure what to play. I've tried everything and am pretty set now on a Swordmaster. I don't know for sure what my in game name will be yet.

I hope i'm able to roll with you guys. I am SE so I'll start on Tuesday. I scheduled the day off of work. HAHA.

Awesome! so glad you found us. In addition to joining the forums did you also join on the main www.toj.cc page? Up in the top left is a "join" link that will give you a quick application to fill out. Once you are accepted by ToJ (our parent organization) then we can bring you on in to the guild in-game.

If you have any questions ask away! Don't forget to check out the stickies in the forums too.

I did apply and was accepted on the toj page tonight. I figured i'd wait until that was out of the way before I posted here. = )

i'm sure i'll have plenty of time to read all the stickies repeatedly while I was for the next 2 days to play haha. one question. Do you guys generally go with "character sounding" names? or just online gamer tag names?

i would feel weird if my toons name is like "Morolei" and every one else is named "Ieatsnow" or visa versa. = )
 
Hehe. Some of both, actually. Not everyone goes with 'thematic' sounding names, but we don't get generally quite as obtuse as "Ieatsnow". (Apologies to anyone who planned to use that one...)

For the most part, however, if you go thematic, you'll fit right in.

Be sure and find the thread with the vent info, it's a great way to get to know us-if you can get a word in edgewise *stares pointedly at Odale* ;P
