Cheryl dont feel bad my HD crashed on Friday on the desktop and i get to spend the next 3 yrs trying to reinstall everything LOL

The hard drive wasn't too bad since I ghosted all my data to my other 60GB drive. The car is still not a guaranteed estimate...but given the light of this job offer I may as well just trade in the car.

or if you're really a speed freak, RAID 5 or RAID 0+1


cheryl - if it was the "click of death" hard drive crash, then stick the HDD in the freezer for 8-10 hours, and then you get maybe 1-2 hours of time to transfer stuff off of it.

also, if that doesnt work, drop it onto a hard surface from a few feet. 3-4 feet onto concrete works, actually.
