Help with writing CGA Terms of Service

Greetings, all.

As you all have noticed lately, we've had our fair share of trouble with "punks" on these forums. Toward the end of better moderating these forums, I'd like for community members to get together and write a Terms of Service for the Christian Gamers Alliance Forums. This ToS would state, very clearly, that posting on our forums is a privilege and not a right--and a privilege that can be revoked any time CGA forum moderators deem fit.

The ToS would, of course, also include the basic rules for this forum. Respect others, no profanity, no links to warez, no posting of naughty material, and so on. The basics.

Feel free to use this thread to post drafts of a Terms of Service and we'll work together to publish a final draft that users will have to read and agree to when creating an account to post here.

It might be better to have a rules forum, because many people just skip the terms of service.

Well even if someone just skips reading it, they're still bound to it, and any consequences of breaking it. Not to be all like against the sub-13 crowd but since this is something that people have to sign up for ya might want to consider the whole Child Privacy Act thing or whatever it's called. Pretty much the thing that's aimed to protect kids by saying that if your under 13 your not sposed to be able to sign up for anything that requires personal information or anything. Just something to ponder cause there's alot of potential for trouble, even being a Christian forum.
