Help: PC I'm building

This one is for a fellow college student of mine that wants a computer that runs Battlefield 2 and MS Office, and has a CD burner, but doesn't cost more than $800.
BF2's minimum requirements:
Windows XP (32-bit) with Admin rights
1.7 GHz Intel Celeron D / Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon XP/ Sempron or greater
512 MB of RAM or more
8x or faster CD/DVD drive
2.3 GB free hard drive space or more
DirectX 9.0c compatible
Video card must have 128 MB or more memory and one of the following chipsets:
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 or greater
ATI Radeon 8500 or greater

I started with a barebones system and tried to go middle-of-the-road performance on everything that I could except for the memory and video card. He already had a monitor which took some of the budget pressure off. The only part that I know I'm unsure about is, the barebones system has a 250 W power supply. Will that be enough, or should I buy a separate one and replace the one in the barebones system? If so, what wattage should I get?

Here's the links to everything I picked out. It's $627.28 including shipping.

Barebones System
Processor
Memory (getting 2 sticks)
Hard Drive
Video Card
CD/DVD burner
Windows XP
Keyboard
Mouse
Speakers

id shop and see if u can get an actual p4, the extra money is worth it i tihkn. or just go amd ^_^ but looks pretty fit.

It's not my money or I would go for a P4. Plus I buy Asus when I can since I find their motherboards so reliable. And I did see a good deal on an Asus AMD motherboard but it was for a 64 bit processor and BF2 only runs on 32 bit.

So, 350 W or higher, eh?

errr my compaq was a 250W when i checked it, a friend gave me a 450 though. actually if ur friend wants to wait, watch slickdeals.net ive seen 64bit machines for under $300

I love that site.

www.newegg.com I bought a 64 bit computer on there with memory and a x800 vid card all for 600 bucks so that Included
Memory 1gig
CPU 64 bit 3200+
Vid Card Saph. x800 ati
MOBO MSI

Case i already had

hehehe, that would be freaking awesome for your friend, cases are decently cheap off newegg

That is an excellent build! However, the way it was explained to me, a 64-bit processor will only run the 64-bit edition of XP, a version that BF2 is not compatible with... am I wrong? Because if not I will definitely build that system. It's very nice.

sorry to revive the dead, but HCS:

1. The processor you specified is no longer being offered. You're other choices have been amazing-- what would you suggest as an alternative for that system?

2. You didn't specify a hard drive-- the one I picked out in my post should still be fine, right?

I meant the one that I mentioned in my original post. But yeah, I figured it would be fine, I just thought I would double-check since he didn't specify one.
