So I went into my living room, got my mom's attention, and asked her if I failec again, that I could just get my GED....and not before adding a "yeah well I'm sure you will" she said...yes. That will be awesome if i do, b/c I don't wanna end up waiting so long to just get diploma etc. etc. I'm kinda excited...b/c...it's kinda like a backup plan haha I never have backup plans....neato...EW who hates work? lol I have to work in a half hour...blah....I hate work...kk well happy new year guys! anyone do anything fun?

Why do you want to skip highschool just to get a less than average diploma? I'm 19 and still in hs, I could easily take the GED and get out of here, but I'd rather finish and excercise my mind.

Try homeschooling if you don't already, you actually learn in it instead of dealing with social crap day in day out.
 
Sigh.. school is the best time of your life.. Not for you though...

I hated school. We dont have homeschool here so i had to go to a main school like everybody else.

Amidst the horrid things that you deal with from time to time you have to remember.. You /are/ Christ in that place. Maybe its different over there but i was pretty much the only christian in a school of about 1000. And i paid for it, over and over.

If you are "getting bored" of school then you lose all my respect. I fought daily at schoo. I was threatened with mental and physical abuse. And the sacars remain. But i stayed on and finished.

complete school. If u dont you will regret it. God may want you in a high paid job serving him. If you drop out you let him down. Has he called you somewhere else? no? then complete school. If your sad cos u get a bit of abuse there.. come back to me when u have real problems.

I know what you mean, i dont like the social aspect of school either.  I'd rather be homeschooled, but i'm kinda stuck in public schools.  I find that its easier for me to stick with one club, or organization, for me Army Junior ROTC.  Freshman year i was lost, didnt know where i stood in the school, who my friends were, but i've stuck with AJROTC for 4 years now, and yeah i am associated with rotc, and get bullied because i am in rotc, but i dont care.  I know everyone is different, i figured my example could help, anyway.  Hope it works out for ya

You guys need to take a long hard look at what happens to people who drop out and/or get a GED. Most, if not all of us here had to go through high school and I bet most of us hated every minute of it. Its your choice but I think you should look at it and realize once you get into the real world™ life doesn't get any easier than high school. It gets harder.

rizz.....there are no PROBLEMS....I just said if I fail again. So you are going to lose respect for me, over a decision that lies in my hands, and has nothing to do with you? Also, to say these aren't real problems? You cannot decide other people's REAL problems...with all respect...you really can't decide what's important to another person, just because it isn't important to youi.
 
i love school :-) lol i got lots of friends, just find the good christian group! we all don't care what people think about us and the whole school respects us for it, lol, people actually want to be our friend, just don't be mean to them if their mean to u, and when they get depressed they'll come to you, lol
 
please dont misinterpret what im saying kb. Im not telling you what to decide or what your problems are. In that, i do apologise for the bluntness of my post. It is obviously an area that i have had a lot of pain in. I went through a lot in school for my God. Then got put on a degree i hated and wanted to drop out every day. But i stuck with it cos i know God has a better idea of what to do with me than i do. Im saying that to quit school because its "too much like hard work" is a foolish thing to do. I think it was less aimed at you and more at other posts on here. Though i suggest you talk it through with someone before you decide anything. Dont just let yourself fail.. strive to beat it and then you will be able to make the decision without any questions in your mind.
 
im not thinking of it as too much hard work, I am just saying that if I fail again that I will probably do it...and I didn't stop going to pub school just b/c i didn't like, it was making me depressed...my best friend had just moved away, and i was sick of going somewhere that i expected to see her everyday...and well yeah...if you wanna know more about that whole issue....u can IM me about it. There's other stuff too.

Yea, I am in my freshman year now and im lost and frustrated...sometimes i just want to rip my heart out and throw it in the garbage can and die
