Alright, I've had this idea for some time now, don't know how effective it would be. I haven't been able to find a guild willing to run it (too serious to risk losing). I'm hoping that with the more casual players here you'll be willing to attempt this.
The idea is Arcane Languor + Equinox. If we can sneak that on a critical caster (monk please!) it would really make their life miserable. The setup I have in mind calls for a Mesmer with high Fast Casting and a lot of e-denial as a backup in case AL doesn't work. The Ranger would have Debilitating Shot and Distracting Shot for more e-denial and to pick off a critical skill. I like having 2 Monks, but since I have very little healing experience I won't begin to tell you how to keep me alive. I'm thinking of a W/N with Hamstring and Virulence to soak up damage and hit something. I like 2 SH Eles or 1 SH and 1 Snare OR 1 SH and 1 Assassin for a quick kill capability. The final slot would be a Necromancer with the standard anti-melee hexes and, if we run 2 melee characters (which I lean towards), Barbs and possibly Order of Pain if he or our healers can cover the health sacrifice.
These are just my initial thoughts on the concept. If you think its viable, I would love to hash out some more details, and come up with a way to execute the design.
