Gyms won't give you a straight answer on monthly costs

A little tip for specific area workouts.
*lol, mistyped and spelled it work0uts, rofl, cause the 0 key is above the o*
It is actually really easy to get a 6 pack and to get your arms fairly big. heh, basics, my friend does pushups everyday when he gets up, 10 - 20 diamond pushups in a row, and that keeps his arms in shape. and for your abs area, you just do situps everyday, start @ 20 then bump it up to 2 sets of 20, and then try doing 80 once or twice every week. :p

you can try competing against each other and see who can go farther... XD

but again, none of these actually give you an overall workout, these are just specific areas.

Correction, running shoes. Non running shoes will most likely get you injured. I highly recommend Asics. :)

That, or cowboy boots.

Personally, I prefer New Balance, but I'm not a big running guru. I just need a shoe that'll get me from point A to point B without me falling down, which I have yet to find.

I wear a pair of Saucony Shadow's. They have to be the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn, their extreamly light and well ventilated. I use them for running and everyday use too. I've had them for a year and a half and they look brand new, they never seem to get dirty. I alternate between boots and shoes though. Their cool too because their called 'Shadow', recommended for the stealthy ninja wanna-be.

Yeah New Balance and Saucony are pretty big in the running shoe department. Adidas and Nike aren't bad either, although I'd say they're a notch below the others. I don't like New Balance because the shoes tend to feel a bit heavy, and Saucony cause they're usually too long for my feet. Asics has fit perfectly for me every time though, and most people I know prefer Asics. Just a matter of opinion.

You know, I bought a pair of Saucony shoes once, and my "more athletic" friend highly discouraged against it, because he'd never heard of the name before. He thought it was some cheap knock-off brand that wouldn't last a month. Fortunately though, I was able to prove him wrong; those shoes lasted me about 2 and a half years. They're great shoes, and very comfortable, but they tend to make the shoe either a lot longer or much narrower than the average foot.

What's really funny though, is that after the Saucony shoes had worn out after about 2 years I bought a pair of Nike's, which my friend suggested, and those shoes tore up within the first 6 months.
