Guild wars 2 is looking simply amazing

Ok so I'm assuming ToJ is starting on GW 2, if so send me a message for I would love to join o_O. Also I might be starting on GW 1 seeing as walmart is now selling gw 1 with all expansions for like 40.00 lol.

Yes, the Spirit of Elijah, the ToJ Guild Wars Chapter, will be transferring over into GW2. We don't know how or what it will look like as we don't know exactly what's in store, but I know ToJ will have a presence in GW2 and once the release date is announced and it gets closer to that date we will start making preparations for it.

Awesome. Any idea as to what class/race you might be? I thought about being a norn warrior who specializes in hammers...<3 meh some 2 handed maces.

I bought Guild Wars Trilogy just this week through OffGamers. I got it for $20. Link in the game deals thread if you're interested.

Also, every little bit of Guild Wars I play makes me want GW2 that much more.

Also, with any luck, I should have a viable machine by then (AMD 2x2.60, 3GB RAM, 9800GT). I hope that will run it decently. I will be a sad panda if not.

I would like a rough release date...even like a quarter and year... ...also...alpha testing, with me having access would be nice too... :p

I really liked GW1...but never bought it...played the trial like 5 times...lol...but my wife and brother never could get into it, so I never bought it...

Although I am looking forward to GW2, I haven't been following up on it much. I've seen a couple videos and that's about it. I know Anet will do a great job with the game and that's enough for me. I want to be surprised when it is finally released.

Wouldn't we all? /sigh
Kinda, but I'm currently just fine with the wait.

My computer won't be able to play it. Until I have a new one in my possession, I don't mind the game being in development without a known release date. I will go completely mad if the game comes out before I get a new computer up and running. So yeah.

I know that's utterly selfish, but I felt like responding to what was intended to be a rhetorical question.

/evil :P

Eh!? The graphics in the demos weren't that great (which is no big deal to me), I am sure your computer would be able to handle it...
Stats: P4 1.6GHz, 768MB RAM, MX4000

Experience: The first Guild Wars is playable only on the lowest settings, and there are still hiccups there.

Yeah. I know. That's so ten years ago. lol

Your CPU is not the issue...1.6GHz isn't that bad still...but your RAM is FTL...

Yeah... my RAM setup is pretty bad. This particular computer maxes at 1GB. I've got relatives coming over today for my birthday. If I'm given birthday money, I'll be applying it toward computer hardware (maxing out the computer I have or buying parts for a new machine depending on the bottom line). I can max out this computer/mobo for about $60 total (P4 2.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 6600GT). Definitely not phenomenal, but it'd be a markable improvement (especially since the RAM I have is a hodgepodge blend that honestly doesn't work well; I think a matched set would improve overall performance).
