Guild Raiding Announcement - Please Read Twice

You friendly raid leader wanted to give you all a little update on Raiding:

First off, I’d like to say something to all the raiders in Redeemed, “Great job and thank you for all the hard work.”

Ok, lets split this up:
Gruul’s Lair
Things are going well, we dropped High King once and close again… allot of teaching and learning. We will continue to use the pHp Site for sign-ups and will continue to have a weekly trip into Gruul’s
Kara
This is really the focus and main reason I am posting this. The Officers and I are working on the Kara teams and hope to push out all the changes after summer is over. Here are things that we wanted to tell you.
1) Officers are well aware of the new members that are getting attuned and not in "Groups"
2) Make sure that if you meet the Gear requirements and/or attuned to Kara indicate so on the “The Great Big I am Attuned Thread” Any other place and you may not make one of the new teams.
3) There are no real groups as of right now (At least for the summer)
4) We will continue to raid every Friday and Monday night for sure. (other nights will be up to raid leaders)
5) While Gruul's Lairs signups work well on the pHp, Kara does not. So, Kara will be two groups put together on the first night ran from a pool of people. Those groups will continue for the rest of the week before reset, while exchanging people to get as many people experience as possible.
6) Each group has a core of raiders that are assigned to those groups, normally 2-3 (These are mainly the Raid leader, The Master Looter, and One other
7) There will not be any “I don’t want to raid with that group.” Or “I only want to raid with one group” mentality. If this happens and an officer hears about it, you may not be raiding that week.

That is all well and good as long as the Raid Leaders will also do something about people that go to raids and goof off more than they do their job... I have never minded wiping as long as everyone tries hard, its a lot more frustrating to wipe when 1 or 2 people are openly not doing their job or even close to it.

There is something coming that will promote effort in the future that the officers are working on. Also, loot is given by commitee and we all see who is working hard and who is not, that is considered.
 
Doc as of right now Gruul is an open invite for all guildies. (Do need to meat Kara reqs)
Only after Gruul are the 25 man reqs being inforced.
 
When will we be starting hte SSC and The Eye runs? Ik we are getting mats for the tanks resist gear but would it be possible to schedule a few runs to get a feel for the place? Reading strat and experiencing first hand both have there advantges

I think the earliest we will be starting the SSC and The Eye runs is when an overwhelming majority (ie...95% or more) of the team meets 95% of the gear requirements or better as the leaders set out in another thread.
 
SSC and the Eye will require two teams clearing Karazhan consistantly.

Then we need Gruul's Lair on farm status, which means three straight one shot kills.
