Ok, I've done this for every guild forum i've been a part of, and so here it is:

A guild photo album! I'll start:

Well, it was good to see anyhow because the photo album on the guild web site either does not work for me (missing plugin?) or I am too slow or joomla challenged to figure out how it works. Everytime I go to the photo album, there are no photos and nothing is clickable. So I am glad you posted here

Hm. I checked your access settings and you should be able to see, post, comment photos. When you click on photo albums on the left, it should bring up a new page with 11 "books" (11 just happening to be how many are currently set up). You can add to other people's albums or create your own using controls on the left.

This is what I get, nothing clickable, no prompts to install plugins, happens in both firefox and IE7.

I haven't tested it with IE 7. I'd have to research if there are known issues with the Joomla plugin and that version.

It will work with Firefox 2.0.0.3 and IE 6. Just to confirm - you are using the www.theforgiven.net URL right and not the old one?

Yup, using that url and I use firefox as my primary browser, v2.0.0.3.

Okay, figured it out, McAfee was blocking the images because it looked like advertising pop-ups to it (and yes I use McAfee because Comcast gives it to me for free for use on as many computers as I want, saving me $50x7 each year to update norton's yearly subscription)

Problem solved

There are other free solutions but hey whatever works...although Id rather have a hole in my foot than use mcafee hhehee.
