*grumble grumble*

If there's more than one shaman - healer or not - there should be a windfury down. No reason to nerf the raid because you think it's funny.

You won't be able to resist Enhance spec once you start playing... healing just gets so dull. Think about STORM STRIKE and LAVA LASH... could you really stop using those to spam lesser healing wave and chain heal?

healings not dull! think where we'd be without our wonderful healers, see, all the love they get! :D

you do realize that i had a healer as a main which was my favorite...made three other 80's and my other main was an enhance shammy that i got tired of and went healing again on haha :P

lol Proud, this obviously isn't how it really is in the raids. We shamans take our totems very seriously, therefore you will see almost every single relevant totem down if Azami and I are both in the raid (we discuss these things prior to the ready check) Rest assured, we love our dps and we like to see yall shine with our buffing totems =]

And as for YOU Kut! How dare you! I keep you alive in raids so have some respect! =P And healing is VERY fun, I like it way more than dps, so it's all about preference =]] I actually have 2 healers.

Don't be so serious Proud, we know (usually) when it's correct to drop Windfury or WoA to our raids given percentages, but in 10 mans I'm in it is usually going to be WoA unless I am the only casting dps there.

Since there's 10 people they're usually filled with 2 tanks (who would like Windfury), 3 healers (who would like WoA), and 5 dps who are split on decision, and probably someone who wants Sentry Totem >_>.

Since I have no points to get to Improved Windfury totem, it's 16% melee haste instead of 20% for melee dps going against 5% spell haste for casters. It might seem like disparaging percentages but Windfury for melee increases only your white damage (I believe) so it won't let you get more special moves in like Mutilate, Crusader's Strike, Bloodthirst, Shred, Unholy Strike, etc(Unless Rogues/Cat Druids gain combo points for auto-attack crits which I've never played them so I wouldn't know). However WoA affects pretty much anything a caster would do whether it'd be their heals or damaging spells so all of our damaging/healing abilities gain a boost by being able to get more of those casts in within a certain time.

So I hold Azami's totems slightly more in favor of WoA since the 10 man raid would have to have me as the only caster dps along with 4 melee dps/3 melee dps + hunter before you can begin arguing for Windfury from an Elemental Shaman.

Besides, Kutlutch asks for Windfury when he's the only melee dps anyways.

It increases poison damage too (which is the main part of my damage, so the windfury totem ends up increasing my dps by almost 1k according to spreasheet).

Yeah, I can't argue with that...

But I also ask for it when there are 2 ranged and 3 melee dps!

EDIT: I am in no way saying WF totem is better than WoA totem, simply because it makes me better. In all cases, raid dps>>>>>>>>>>>>>individual dps.

Windfury will generally be better than WoA if it's from an enhancement shaman rather than an elemental/resto shaman assuming they put 2 points into improving it (which they should).

It increases the amount the poison applies correct and not the actual number? I suppose it'll increase all procs such as seals and poisons.

Yes WF from enhance is 4% better but it's still a huge buff from no haste coming from other specs. I wasn't really serious about the whole "you guys think it's funny" thing.

Yes, It increases the amount of procs, not the amount of damage of the procs. It's a huge dps increase for seals. White damage and seals is like 60-70% of my damage.
