Great GW links for new players.

I would be interested in reading some of the articles that my fellow players have found to be especially helpful. I need to stop spending so much time scouring through all the GW material on the web just to rarely find something that improves my knowledge and skills. There are just too many sites and I would rather have recommend links to follow up on.

If anyone has links to some great articles or helps, It would be fun to see them. If they contain spoilers please note that.

Here are a few sites I have found useful:

• Official Guild Wars Website - Game updates and Fansite Links
• Guild Wars Guru - Interactive Map, Forum and lots of other good info.
• The Guild Hall - Another elite fansite with lots of good info and forum.
• Photics - Good Web eZine
• Xennon's Elite Skill Locations - Good once you get a little farther along in the game.
  

The map and Guru forums are some of my more frequent visits. I'll see what others I can add when my kids finish with my other computer

You can check the guild wars forum on my website. We've shared some good info on there. GWOnline.net has some good info and articles on there. It just depends on what type of info you are looking for at the time. If there is something you want to know, post about it and I'm sure you'll get the answer you are looking for.

Ok this is not for new players per se' but I thought it was a fantastic chart for those about to enter the Crystal Desert and the Shiverpeaks.

It tells you what all the collectors have, want, and where they are. I did some shopping yesterday and was just stoked with the help of these links

I have been playing in the Tombs a bit lately. I just love the different maps there. Here is a great link on some strategy:

OK this is another fantastic find. This is an excel spreadsheet that will save you a ton of cash. It gives you the ingredients to make rare crafting material, the collectors that craft them, and maps to most of them.

It has come to my attention recently that a few of the newer members of SoE are having difficulty keeping up with a few of the more seasoned players because of the Slang and Terminology used. Visit the link to see a summary on GuildWiki of some, but not all, of the terms used in game.

With my main character being a battery necro, one glaring omission here is BiP for the elite necro skill Blood is Power.

Alot of people (myself included) have been asking for price checks alot lately. So I'm posting a link to GwG price check forum. They have running lists of all the greens and their current prices, as well as baseline prices for weapon mods. You can also get an idea of what your item is worth by other users posts.
