After upgrading my Dell Inspiron 1525 to 4GB of RAM
i had 2 chips of 1GB RAM each left over
they were still good chips so i looked for a way to use them
rather than throw them out.
My wife has a Dell Latitude D510 laptop
and i found out they were compatible
with these extra chips i had left over
Her Latitude D510 had 512MB of ram (factory installed)
she now has 2GB of RAM
almost 4 times the RAM it came with
Now that's what i call good recycling
amazing what you can learn from internet literature lol
