God's Involvement

There is a fine line between 'miracles' and 'coincidences' and it depends on where you choose to draw that line. I have seen and heard more than enough 'coinidences' to realize that God does exist. It is only those who do not believe who will merely discount anything seen as simply a 'coinidence'. Incidentally, they will choose to believe in the coinidence of Evolution and the Big Bang (I know you do not, DV, just pointing it out).

Now, let me ask you this: Were not people, back in Jesus's time, skeptical of his miracles, even after witnessing them? Wasn't it the people's will to rather save the life of a blood thirsty murderor than Jesus, who was deemed perfect? Haven't scientists attempted to disprove every single miracle Jesus performed, even though some of these explanations border on the rediculous?

Why then, would it not be different today? If Jesus lived now and performed those same miracles, I doubt anyone would act any differently. It's whether people that see them choose to believe in them or not.

You cannot compare the Old Testament with the New. The way things were done are drastically different, thus you cannot compare the plagues, the burning bush, ect. with the miracles of the New Testament.
