I assume it means "good going", but I wasn't sure. From my expierence in gaming it means "good game"..
 
Seems to me you know what it means, why the question?

or when said at the beginning: have a good game.

I believe that people are beginning to translate it as good job, good going, etc
 
In games, and most forums, gaming ones anyhow, it means "Good Game" but you will find some places where it means good going.

BTW, "Good Job" is gj

gg=good game
gg=also good going
nj=nice job
ns=nice shot (usually GunBound or Counter-Strike reference)
gl hf=good luck, have fun (together or seperately)
brb=be right back
