GFC Weight Loss Challenge Part 2

Wirl

on to something new...
Hey everyone,

Let's tighten those belts and put on those sweat bands because it's time to start loosing weight AGAIN!!!

Ok, we'll try to track our progress a little differently this time. For your weekly progress reports lets post the following...

1) Acheivements from the prior week
2) Set backs that will be worked on for the next week
3) Any weight loss (once again, this is voluntary, no one has to do this)
4) Encouragement that you might have for everyone else.

Also, while we're pushing forward, if you have a tip for the GFC let us know. We can all use the help in all areas.

We'll do another SIX WEEKS with progress reports on Monday like last time.

Our start date will be Monday, May 1st.

Remember to pray and excercise you spirit as well, it needs it as much as your body.

Father, thank you for the ability to make a difference in my physical life, give me strength and determination to press forward to the goal that You have for me, and that I would like to see myself reach, and may it be for all of Your glory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
:D

GO GFC!!! GO FATHER GOD!!! GO JESUS!!! GO HOLY SPIRIT!!! WOOT THANG!!!

Ok. Just one small change :D Instead of going for only six weeks. We are going to run the challenge for 10 weeks, (Or the entire summer.) So weigh yourself, check your belt size, on May 1st. Write those measurements down somewhere you wont lose them and then check back in 10 weeks. (Reason I did this is cause that is how long my summer classes are gonna go for. helps me keep good count. ;-)

Here is my $0.02

I am dividing up my routine. In the morning, stretching while listening to the Daily Audio Bible. It is hard getting up earlier, but it is a nice way to start the day. Then, in the evening, exercising (bike, walk, etc) For some of us who are time challenged, I think this will be easier to get everything in.

p.s (still stretching before exercising, just in the morning it is more intense)

Well, my daily routine has totally changed. I have lost another 5 pounds. I haven't actually been doing "excercise" as far as a routine but I have "excercised" by chasing down DeadlyBinky. Since she has started getting around on her own I have a huge challenge as far as being able to get things done. On the other hand I have had a lot of help keeping me active. She LOVES to aggravate her big sisters and get into things that she is not supposed to. :) But I'm in it for another 5 pounds or so and then I will stay in just to keep myself fit.

We still need to make our weekly posts on progress. Encouragement is the biggest key to the success in our goals.

I'm going to shoot for another 20 lbs to lose. I'm looking forward to my girlish figure again ( :( ). :D

REMEMBER, Monday is the official kick off, get those pounds a losen.

Woot!!!! I would have been in trouble if it started this weekend. Sui and I are going to pretend we are teenagers again and stay up late, watch movies and eat junk food!!! Tis a date weekend.

Anywhoo. Praying for everyone involved in this and that ultimately this would serve His purpose.

Week 1 KICK IT OFF!!!

Well here we go everyone!!!

Remember two things!
1) PRAY!!! Don't do this all on your own. Put your strength in Christ.
2) Refer back to #1.

On Sunday, post your progress and try this week to think of an encouragement to share with everyone.

GOD BLESS AND BLESSED LOSING!!! :D

-personal-
I'm starting my week with a fast today. It wont kill me to lose some food for a day, plus my spirit would love it. WOOT TO DA FATHER! :D

Ok gang,

Got a tip for you...

You like to have a drink with your meal? Well you may want to concider changing that habit.
If you drink a liquid while your eating, you can dilute the acids in your stomach and you body will retain larger amounts of FAT for you.
However if you don't drink anything until 30 mins before and after your meal, your stomach acids will work a lot better, and digest your food easier.

I've tested the process and I have found success, I wanted to pass this on to everyone!!!

PRAISE GOD, and KEEP ON PRAYING!!!
:D
