My wife and I are looking into playing DAoC, however, we don't have any of the expansion packs yet. Is it required to get Shrouded Isles and Trials of Atlantis before playing? Also, how do we meet up with ToJ players or other Christian players online?
 
It is not required. It is very helpful. The reason it is helpful is that it adds two possible classes and races to your character choices. You can get up to level 35 or 40 without any of the paid expansions.

To find one of us online simply do a /who trinity.

What classes are you thinking about? When would you play?
 
you can get up to 50 on the normal daoc, but youll want SI anyway

I've currently got a low level (7) Briton Pally in Iseult. I finally got the SI expansion, waiting on TOA until I hit mid 20s. My wife also has started playing, she has a 7 Briton Friar in Iseult. I go by Trikale and she goes by Ghedin. What servers does the rest of ToJ play on?
