An interesting thing to think about in regards to whether or not God has freewill is that He is omniscient. This takes the whole "if God knows everything that I will do, I have no choice in the matter" to an extreme by suggesting the idea that because God Himself knows everything he will ever do, he has no freewill.[b said:Quote[/b] (Grand Master @ Feb. 19 2004,2:26)]So then are you saying that god has no free will?
This is merely something to ponder; I do not believe we are able to describe God in human qualities, but if we had to I would agree that God does have free will. And Kidan's example, I would say, is a good point. Ninevah was indeed spared His wrath. Another similar example is when Moses "convinced" God to spare everyone worshipping the golden calf (although, that might in turn bring up its own questions).
