Gaming mice?

I don't like the logitechs much because they get all dirty. I recently retired my mx518 in favor of a razor. My only complaint about the razor is the sides are the annoying slick plastic that looks good but does nothing for traction, the top has an almost leather like feel that doesnt build up skin oil like the logitech did and seems to keep the surface fairly dry.

a tip.... proper english is gaming "mouses" not mice... gaming mice are a group of mice that game.... which would be really cool to see... but i dont think you meant that. if you are talking of a computer mouse... it is mouses.

Gaming: Logitech MX518, right-handed
Browsing: Logitech Marble Mouse USB, left-handed

Though usually not at the same time.

Mickey, get him... get him good. The no good prima donna keeps down honest rodents... :D

Just doing my duty to make normal forum conversations entertaining... or at least strange :p

I would recommend it except for the fact that I had to disconnect it and clean it every few weeks, that gets old really fast.

clean it?? its an optical, whats their to clean? and honestly i like the fact i have to disconnect it. i still dont like wireless mice or keyboards.

The top of it features a crack right next to a bezel. Since my hands are incredibly acidic and my skin is dry most of the time, it tends to build up an incredibly hard to clean layer of gunk. I have been using a new razor for 5 weeks and have yet to see even a hint of a similar buildup. I was about to get a g5 but decided on the razor because I dont like cleaning the logitech design.

I've still got my original laser mouse from when we first got this Dell I game on...

lol...chances are good that dell is a logitech in disguise. I've always preferred logitech, but it is hit or miss as to what's comfortable and what's not. IMO the mx518 is to tight, but then I'm used to roller balls where all of your fingers are spread out. The razor however looks to be a pretty good choice. Lot's of good reviews
