Gaming Console Suggestion

Hi all. My tax refund is looking pretty nice and I've wanted to get a game console for some time now. I'm interested in either an Xbox 360 or a Wii. What I really, really want to do is play Dance Dance Revolution. Does anyone have any preference? Which one has the better games? I've never owned a console before so this will be quite new to me. Please and thanks.

Was just browsing a store...any thoughts on Playstation 2?

Nobody can ever go wrong with a Playstation 2. Ever.

I think there are better games on the 360 over the Wii, however, there is a pretty neat looking DDR game that incorporates arm movements with the remote and nunchuk if that's your thing too. It all really depends on what type of game you're looking for.

To be honest, I haven't touched my PS3 much since I got my 360, but that's because the xbox has that new console smell to it

If DDR is your main game, then you might want to consider buying a Playstation 2. I believe the PS2 has the largest library of DDR games and is considerably cheaper than any next-gen consoles.

Of course, you could always pick up a copy of Dance Praise that includes a dance paid and download StepMania as well.

I did check and the PS2 is more than likely what I am going to buy. It just has more to offer. Thanks for the help.
