Thought I'd share these great teasers of what Blizzard has planned for after patch 2.1 ! From "Games for Windows" magazine. Very good 13-page WoW article including patch 2.1 information!

Thanks for sharing, Madisor. I still need to pick up a copy of the magazine for myself. The article has fun tid-bits from the developers as well.

Interesting ideas there. I also wish they'd add personal single-account banks, similar to what we got in DAoC with the housing patch. One toon could drop an item in it, then you could log your alt and immediately take the item out, without waiting 2 hours for the mail to propagate.

I'm looking forward to the in-game voice chat, might allow better coordination in PUGs. I wish they'd used a different example for how it might be used, though.

Ugh :( . I guess they didn't have enough space to give examples for speaking to melee - "Target the murloc!", and "Use the pointy end!" ;) .

Yeah, they did that in Eq too, and called them shared slots in your bank window if I remember right. It was very nice. I figure it will come at some point to WoW.
 
One thing I wish they would start would be to allowing players to put money in the bank. Seriously, what kind of bank doesn't take money? There is a vault in IF after all. A bank, with a vault, but yet doesn't take money? Someone's hiding something in there! :)
