Hey Guys,

Im looking for some good rpg or fps games that I can run on my laptop that don't require much power to run. Here's the spec's on my laptop:

AMD X2 64 2.0ghz
2GB Memory
Nvidia 7000m / Nforce 610m
150GB HD
Windows Vista Home Premium (It works great!)

Nothing beffy, but it runs EQ2 & WoW. (Im not playing EQ2 anymore)

So anywho, if ya'll know some good games, I'm all ears, or in this case eyes and fingers.

Since you have a nVIDIA card, try downloading and installing Portal: First Slice and see how that runs. If you machine handles the Portal demo well, it should handle other Source-based games like Team Fortress 2 and Half-Life 2.

All RPGs I play nowadays are either on my GBA, DS, or PS2, so I can't give any recommendations for PC RPGs.

Baldur's Gate series and Never Winter Nights should work fine...maybe Dungeon Siege also. Definitely try the Fallout series.

Have you had any luck with NWN 1 or 2 on Vista? I couldn't get NWN2 installed right on my home pc which is using Vista. I should've installed DS2 before I left. I love those games but if it doesn't say Vista I usually don't try it because of all the mess I've heard from other gamers saying the problems the have with their games because of Vista. With wow I always have to select the "Run as Administrator" option or else I can't connect to the servers for some reason and blizzard hasn't offered any fix for this yet.

Do they still exist?

I know Fallout 3 is coming soon, but you'd have to suggest, wowAbdi, if the old Fallout games are downloadable.

F.E.A.R. and Alien Vs Predator 2 are good FPS. Very scary.

If you like anime/robots, Shogo is also good too.

hmmmm anime.....Oni? LOL Cool Corp. I'll look up Shogo when I get a better connection. Thanks for the recomendations.

NWN and Dungeon Seige require more than an integrated video card. Baldur's Gate (the original) might work.

D2 is a great rpg/dungeon crawler (will work fine on ur pc too).

also i know they have ff7 for the pc if ur interested in classic rpg's

also u try farcry? i just recently got it to work on my crap pc, fun game, bit hard though unless u go on easy mode, but challenge is the fun of it. cod2 isnt bad if u like ww2 games at all. im not much of a ww2 player but cod2 is great, should be cheap as well with cod/3/4 out.
