game plan??

.......... i thoguht ur real name really was isaiah tek7 jones.......
Heh, well, if it's any consolation, "Tek" is like another first name for me. Seriously. I've gone by that handle for over ten years now. During the Christian Gamers Alliance a few years ago, I would respond to the name "Tek" as quickly as to my first name.

Several staff members know my real name, so it's not a "super-secret." It's just something I avoid posting publicly so I can protect myself and my wife.

As the President of not one but two Christian gaming organizations, you can imagine the kind of prank and hate calls I would get if I made my name publicly available.

Seriously?

Sorry, I labor under the notion that Christian persecution is highly overrated.

Especially since I've witnessed and been the subject of attacks BY Christians.

For a long time now I've wanted to get a Flying Spaghetti Monster emblem for my car (like the Icthus) but I know it would be ripped off & my car keyed.

I can fully understand the antiChristian animosity, but there's just as much, if not more, animosity posited BY Christians.

It's all very sad.

Seriously?

u would be suprised how many people in washington state dont have lives and do make prank and hate calls all the time to churches here. a good example is a local baptist church gets hate mail almost daily and gets 20+ prank calls a day. dont forget the many times that CCGR.org has been hacked by pranksters.

Where'd it come from?

*Glances at Tek shrine in closet*

Ok... I think I see what you mean :p

Hasn't anyone mentioned Reese Cups? The perfect gift, imo.

And back on topic, I'll stick with jewelry :)

I don't mean to compare myself to first century martyrs by any means, but if using a pseudonym online prevents prank calls and helps protect me and my wife, then it seems a reasonable thing to do.
