Every year the first Thursday in May is celebrated as "The National Day of Prayer." This year's "theme" is "Pray for America." I know we as Christians know the power of prayer and that it is not a once a year event and is a daily if not every minute need, but I thought I would go ahead and post and encourage you to pray more for our country (I know we have a few others outside of the US) and other prayers that you feel led to pray "extra" today.
So add your prayers here, go into your prayer closet, sing praises, or whatever way you feel led to remember to pray. Don't forget to always say "Thank You" for your blessings or struggles as they mold you to who God wants you to be even if sometimes He needs to hit you with a two by four to get your attention or that quiet whisper that you actually have to stop to hear.
