1Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.
Coming from the 10 years in the military it was extremely difficult to surround myself with Christian friends. As a matter of fact there were negative examples in every aspect of my day. Worse when I was underway or at a port call in another country and the only "item of the day" was to drink or visit a "club".
It is so important to surround yourself with Godly influences as much as possible. This is why being in an active fellowship is so important. Additionally that is why meditating on God's word day and night is also crucial.
Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17
