2 Corinthians 9:8

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; the ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work"

It is natural to be worried in these times. Many people have lost what they have spent years working for in the name of responsibility to have it stolen by completely irresponsible people. Society is divided against itself being derailed by the revelation that we can't trust either the private sector or the government so it rages in debate about which is the lesser evil to put our future faith in. It's not even just limited to the money we make anymore but has also spread to the food we eat.

As Christians though we shouldn't be surprised. The Bible tells us that no man can be trusted, not even our own selves, and any trust placed in any man will ultimately fail. But we are also told where we can and should be putting our trust instead. "God is able to make all grace about toward you" regardless of what the world is going through so we don't need to be anxious about the future or our place in it. Even if we're uncertain about our place now, God surely knows and will continue being with us every step of the way.
