Psalms 46:10 KJV - Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Isn't it great in the mist'd of our everyday troubles that sometimes we can just sit down and listen to an almighty God tell us to just relax and know that he is God, and that he IS and will always and forever be in control?!
 
I am preaching on that verse in two weeks - Solitude as a means to get closer to God. Thanks for the heads-up.
 
Heh, as a fellow Preacher i know, it is so nice to get comfirmation from God that what you are about to preach it really what he wants you too :] So you are very welcome :]
 
I'm starting a six week series called Fast Lane - Getting closer to God than you ever imagined, quicker than you ever though possible. I'm going to include a week on Solitude and Sabbath. Going to make it a when and how for "be still."
 
Sounds good, i like it, I hope and pray it is well recieved and that it touches souls, changes hearts, and moves spirits! :]
