Free Online FPS

Wow, offers to buy the game for me even... this really is a family! Normally I'd be all humble-like and just say no, but I actually have valid reservations about it. One thing is that my sole reason for playing is to play with ToJ members. I wouldn't be doing a lot of single-player (although I might end up practicing.. haha). And I can't commit more than one night a week to an FPS right now. So I'd hate to have someone buy me something and then feel like I was letting them down by not playing the game enough, ya know? Still, it's an incredibly kind gesture and one I was totally shocked to see, and from two people no less. In short, if the above doesn't bother you, go for it. I can promise I wouldn't turn it away. ;)

I'm glad I asked this question. Had no idea there were this many free/cheap FPS games out to try. This should be good info for other members, too.

Hey, if you don't want it -- have them send it to you anyway so you can give it to me. =P Haha, jk. I'll probably pick up UT2k4 on my own eventually. Once I have more time to play it, perhaps? *blush*
 
No, Shagz. Different topic. I started that one after this one to ask questions about specific game types within the FPS umbrella and expanded my interest to something other than free games. :)

Looking at those screen shots almost makes me want to pull out my Q3 disc again with all my custom maps. Good times...
